Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable fan clutch bearing support structure that restrains runout of a fan with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A fan clutch bearing support structure (100) comprises a fan clutch body (24), a driving shaft (20), deep groove ball bearings (1 and 1), and a preloading mechanism (30). The preloading mechanism includes a first side plate (31) in contact with a race of one of the deep groove ball bearings, a second side plate (32) in contact with a race of the other of the deep groove ball bearings, and a moving body (33) arranged between the first side plate and the second side plate and to be moved outward in a radial direction by centrifugal force to increase a distance between the first side plate and the second side plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
