To compact a fan coil unit by reducing the numbers of rows and stages of heat exchangers by increasing an air capacity by an axial fan to be used.

The fan coil unit comprises the axial fan 2 having an impeller 9, and an air guide plate 11 perpendicularly crossing with a rotary shaft 7 of the fan 2 having a shape in which an outer periphery of the shaft 7 is disposed at an inside from an inner peripheral surface of a casing 1 at a rear edge diffusing side of the impeller 9 to radially guide the diffused air flow of the fan 2. Thus, the air flow similar to the diffused air flow of a centrifugal fan. Accordingly, as compared with a conventional example, remarkable static pressure rise and air capacity increase are obtained.
