Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the current consumption of a fan and suppress the noise of the fan.
SOLUTION: If a traveling mode is a deceleration mode, the vehicle operation condition of a driver having the intention of stopping a vehicle is satisfied, an idling stop inhibiting condition is not satisfied and an engine revolution is lower than 1,000 rpm, an engine controller predicts that the idling stop exists. If the engine controller predicts that the idling stop exists, a battery controller stops a fan before the idling stop (step S22). The level of the wind power at that time is once switched from Hi to Lo (step S26), and after prescribed lapse of time (step S25), the fan is turned off.
