Abstract:
To obtain a fan device which has no need of attaching an exclusive fan to each member to be cooled.
The fan device 200A is attached to a paper discharge section 116 of an image forming apparatus to cool a guide 108 and a carrying motor 300 being subjected to heat influences from a fixing apparatus 106. A fan cover 202 of the fan device 200A has a shape of a duct. Wind a1 from a fan 201 is blown to the guide 108 from an opening 202a, wind a2 blown to the guide 108 and returned is guided to the carrying motor 300 along a guide surface 202b. Thus wind from the single fan 201 cools two members, the guide 108 and the motor 300.
