Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the expense of bolts for bolting a fan to a fan drive in a fan and a fan drive assembly.
CONSTITUTION: A cover member 23 of a fan driver 13 is provided with a connecting part 65 integrally formed extending from the nominal diameter D outward in the radial direction, and the terminal parts 67, 69 of the connecting part 65 are extended along the axial direction of the fan driver 13. The connecting part 65 is mounted in a hub cavity of a fan molding die, moldable plastic material is injected into the hub cavity and the blade cavity to integrally form the the fan blade 63 and the hub 61 of the fan 15. An annular hub 61 is formed in the periphery of the terminal portion 67,69 of the connecting part 65, so that the cover member 23 of the fan drive 13 and the fan 15 are connected not to be rotated. As a result, there is no need to bolt the fan to the fan drive.
