PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus capable of fixing or replacing a fan motor from the outside of the chassis without limiting the mounting space of electronic components.
CONSTITUTION: A fan motor fitting hole 29 is made in the chassis of an electronic apparatus and a fan motor fixing part 30 is formed of a louvering part 32 and a bent part 33 at the forward end thereof. A bolt 21 is inserted into the fixing screw hole 31 at the bent part 33 and tightened to secure a fan motor 15. Consequently, the fan motor 15 can be fixed or replaced without dismantling the chassis 10. Furthermore, the fan motor 15 can be secured while changing the direction thereof. The fan motor 15 can also be fixed reversely without limiting the mounting space of electronic components when nuts are buried in the housing 16 of the fan motor 15 in the direction of thickness thereof, a fixing plate having a fixing screw hole 31 is fixed, or a fixing screw hole 31 is made in the way of a fixing hole 25.
