To provide a fan shroud 1 which can reduce noises leaking from an engine room 50 to the outside of a vehicle.

The fan shroud 1 is provided with a shroud main body 10 which houses a cooling fan 53 for vehicle and a shield 20 which extends from sides of both left and right ends of the shroud main body 10 to a vehicle front. A forefront of the shield 20 is allowed to cover left and right peripheral edges (30, 31) of an air-intake opening 3. The shield 20 partitions left and right lateral sides in a region ranging from the shroud main body 10 to the air-intake opening 3 inside the engine room 50. Hence, the shield 20 can block the propagation path of the noises transmitted from left and right lateral sides of the engine room 50 to the outside of the vehicle, thus reducing the noises leaking from the engine room 50 to the outside of the vehicle.
