To use a frame body in common for fans of various sizes, in a fan unit for a projector in which two fans are attached side by side.

The frame body 30 is divided in a first movable frame 70 and a second movable frame 80, which are connected so as be be freely slid vertically. An upper oblong member 50 divided in two upper girders 51 is provided for the first movable frame 70. A lower oblong member 60 divided in two lower girders 61 are provided for the second movable frame. The two upper girders 51 and 51 are connected by an upper tubular body 52 so as to move close to or apart from each other. The two lower girders 61 and 61 are connected by a lower tubular body 62 so as to move close to or apart from each other. Mounting parts 32 and 33 corresponding to a fan 10 for one side are attached to the first movable frame 70 and the lower tubular body 62 respectively. Another mounting parts 34 and 35 corresponding to a fan 20 for the other side are attached to the second movable frame 80 and the upper tubular body 35 respectively.
