PURPOSE: To provide a device which can automatically embroider using fancy yarns, as inserting a plurality of fancy yarns into the space opened between the warp yarns instead of the conventional manual operations with a plurality of small shuttles in a handloom.

CONSTITUTION: An embroidering device for a handloom 1 is set to the frame 2 and comprises (A) a bobbin container 20 which holds a plurality of bobbins so that they may be took out separately therefrom, (B) a bobbin holder 40 which holds an arbitrary bobbin to move it in the X-axis direction between the warp yarns which are displaced in the Z-axis direction, (C) a driving mechanism 50 which moves the bobbin holder 40 at an arbitrary distance in said X-axis direction, and (D) a bobbin-transferring mechanism 60 which takes out an arbitrary bobbin contained in the container 20 and the bobbins held by the bobbin holder are transferred to the container.
