To efficiently, quickly, and inexpensively dry objects to be dried, such as painted parts, etc., by drying the objects by heating with the radiant heat from the heat generating medium of heating plate bodies, with far infrared rays from far infrared ray radiating bodies, and with hot air from hot air blowing means after the objects are carried in a drying chamber by means of a moving means.

Objects 4 to be dried are dried by heating by means of heating plate bodies 3 and a hot air circulating means 11 after the objects 4 are carried in the drying chamber 2 of a far infrared dryer 1 by means of a moving means 6. Namely, the objects 4 are efficiently dried by heating with the hot air 8 supplied to a chamber 7 and blown from hot air blowing means 9, with far infrared rays radiated from far infrared ray radiating bodies successively provided above the moving means 6 and heated by means of the heat generating medium of the heating plate bodies 3, and with radiant heat generated when the radiating bodies are heated. The hot air 8 is repeatedly circulated by means of the hot air circulating blower 14 of a hot air circulating means 11 and a duct 15 for circulation, and the temperature of the hot air 8 is efficiently raised by reheating the hot air 8 with the heated objects 4 to be dried and a heater 10 at every circulation.
