To provide a far infrared drying apparatus for grain having the merit of a grain drying apparatus of a throwing type adapted to lift and convey grains with an elevator, and then throw and load the grains into a grain tank intactly, and having the merit of a grain drying apparatus including a far infrared rays generator.
A far infrared drying apparatus for grain 10 includes a far infrared rays radiator 78 coupled with a burner 66 disposed at the center between the right and the left in a conduit 38, and an elevator 56 disposed biassed from the center between the right and left of an apparatus body 12 to one side of the apparatus. Further, a direction control plate 60 is provided in the grain tank 24 to reflect grains just after the grains are thrown into the grain tank 24 with the elevator 56, whereby the loading of the grains into the grain tank 24 is set directed toward substantially the center (central line ) of the right and the left of the apparatus body 12. Accordingly, grains thrown with the elevator 56 are thrown to the central portion of the grain tank 24, and henceforth the grains are uniformly thrown into the grain tank 24.
