To provide a far-infrared imaging apparatus and an output value correction method that can output the values of imaging elements with respect to the same object to be adjusted with high accuracy, by excluding the output values of the imaging elements that is outputting the abnormality values and calculating the offset correction value and the gain correction value.
The far-infrared imaging apparatus includes a plurality of imaging elements, arranged in a matrix form; an offset correction value calculation means for calculating the offset correction value for correcting the output value of each imaging element, with respect to a prescribed temperature; a gain correction value calculation means for calculating the gain correction value for correcting the difference from the output value of each imaging element, with respect to a prescribed temperature changing rate, and acquiring imaging data, by correcting the output value of each imaging element on the basis of the offset correction value and the gain correction value, specifies the imaging elements whose output values are abnormal values and calculates the offset correction value and the gain correction value, by excluding the output values of the imaging elements whose output values are abnormal values.
