Abstract:

PURPOSE: To cause a heating element to radiate 3 to 50μ of far infrared rays, by plasma-spraying its surface with a mixture containing more than 10 wt% of lanthanum chromite.

CONSTITUTION: The surface of a heat radiant dody 1 is treated with Ni-Cr after blasting with alumina and is covered with a film formed by plasma-spraying a mixture containing at least more than 10 wt% of lanthanum chromite. This heat radiant device can radiate 3 to 50μ of far in rared rays.
