Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener assembly never leaving tails and other remnants of a sleeve on the surface of a base when a fastener is driven into the base.
SOLUTION: The fastener assembly 50 includes a plurality of fasteners arranged in one row each having a head part 62 and a long-sized shank 64and a carrier 70 formed by connecting a plurality of sleeves 72 supporting and surrounding part of the fasteners 60. Each of the sleeves 72 disposed on both ends in the plurality of sleeves includes an upper fragile portion 74 and a lower fragile portion 78. At least one side of the sleeves 72 disposed on both ends contains extensions 171, 173 provided on the lower fragile portion 78.
