Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new fastener having a simple structure capable of positively preventing a looseness of a nut.SOLUTION: This invention comprises a bolt 10 and a nut 20. A stud part of a thread part 12 of the bolt 10 has an elongated hole 13 for use in pouring cooling agent and at the same time an outer diameter of the thread part 12 is made larger than an inner diameter of the nut 20 in a normal temperature range. Then, cooling agent is poured from the elongated hole 13 of the bolt 10 to cool the thread part 12 to make a thermal shrink in its radial direction and the nut 20 is engaged in thread with it, resulting in that, after this state, the thread part 12 is thermally expanded to cause the nut 20 to be pushed wide and cause them to be tightly engaged to each other. With this arrangement as above, the nut 20 is not loosened. Additionally, since its structure is also simple and its manufacturing cost is also less-expensive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
