Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the exposure of a power source cord outside when a handle is folded and to maintain good appearance by making it possible to smoothly draw out and take up the power source cord.
CONSTITUTION: This hair dryer is provided with a pair of supporting pieces 40a, 40b projecting from the back surface of a dryer body 10, a first shielding wall 46 covering nearly the half of the left and right of the open parts of these pieces with each other and a second shielding wall 47 covering nearly the half of the left and right of the open parts of a pair of mounting pieces 42a, 42b projecting to the top end of the handle 41. Further, the second shielding wall 47 moves along the side edge of the first shielding wall 46 according to the operation to hold the handle 41 to the state along the dryer body 10 by turning the handle around a hinge shaft 43. The first shielding wall 46 and the second shielding wall 47 are paralleled adjacently. This hair dryer with a cord reel device is provided with the power source cord 20 which passes through the supporting pieces 40a, 40b and is covered and concealed by the first shielding wall 46 and second shielding wall 47.
