Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener showing sufficient functionality even if a rivet grip of an assembly component is reduced after fixing of a blind rivet.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a fastener for use in connecting assembly components including a blind rivet 11 having: a tubular rivet sleeve 13 with a through-pass hole 14 being axially passed and having at one end a rivet head 16 enlarged in a radial direction; and a mandrel 15 arranged in the through-pass hole 14, having a mandrel head 21 arranged at a foot part end portion 17 of the rivet sleeve 13 and intended to transmit a force to the rivet sleeve 13 during fitting of the blind rivet 11. When the blind rivet 11 is fixed, a spring element 12 is held by holding means 25 there so as to enable a position to be contacted with the rivet head 16 and at that position the rivet head 16 can be supported on the surface of the assembly component by the spring element.
