Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fastening band which is mounted on an electric pole and the like, excellent in heat resistance, cold resistance, water resistance, and weather resistance, and not slipped down from the electric pole.
CONSTITUTION: This fastening band 1 is constituted so that a banding metal fitting 6 is mounted on a belt 5 provided with a plurality of toothed parts 2 arranged in the lengthwise direction and a back part 4 with core-wire 3 embedded therein. The toothed part 2 and the back part 4 of this belt are made of at least HSBR in which random copolymer of ethylene/styrene/butylene is treated by hydrogenation, and thermoplastic elastomer mixed with polypropylene and light resisting stabilizer, a blend ratio of HSBR and polypropylene (weight ratio of HSBR/polypropylene) is set to be 30/70-40/60, and the fastening band in which the band both end parts are passed through grooves of the banding metal fitting, and the band is locked with projections provided on the face opposite to the toothed part of the band is provided.
