To reduce the time required for working and effectively use material by fixing a metal plate bored taperedly and straightly and a metal plate bored straightly to each other by using a metal fitting.

A metal plate A2 is worked to have a tapered bore and a straight bore while a metal B3 is worked to have a straight bore for positioning. In the plates A2, B3 a fixing and fastening fitting 1 is mounted and then screwed therein to perform positioning and fixing/fastening simultaneously. To fix and fasten two sheets or more of plates, a straight bore is worked in a metal plate between the metal plates A2, B3 and all the plates are then fixed and fastened thereby. As the stop prevention of the fixing metal fitting, conventional standards of such as hexagonal or cross type may be applied.
