Abstract:

To suppress backlash and abnormal noise and to fasten an assembling member to a member to be fastened, while securing stable tightening torque.

In a vehicle seat 10, a contact surface 52 is provided on a head part 44 of a bolt unit 40, and a screw part 46 is screwed to a shaft part 36 until the contact surface 52 is brought into contact with the distal end face of a support shaft 34. Thus, the contact surface 52 and the distal end face of the support shaft 34 are brought into surface contact (metal touch) and the tightening torque of the bolt unit 40 is secured. Further, since a bush 54 is pressurized by the flange part 48 of the bolt unit 40, a projection 58 is crushed by an upper rail 14. Thus, the upper rail 14 and a front arm 28 are fastened to an attaching flange 38. Thus, while securing the stable tightening torque of the bolt unit 40, the backlash and abnormal noise between a front link mechanism 26 and the upper rail 14 are suppressed, and the upper rail 14 and the front arm 28 are fastened to the support shaft 34.
