Abstract:

To provide a fastening pin, which is hardly flexed during driving and which is effectively driven into a hard member to be driven.

The fastening pin comprises: an enlarged head section 1; a large diameter shaft section 2a below the enlarged head section 1; a middle shaft section 2b below the large diameter shaft section 2a; and a small diameter shaft section 2c extending from the middle shaft section 2b to a top end 8. The pin has a round part 4 in an underhead section 3, which is a boundary between a lower face of the enlarged head section 1 and an upper end of the large diameter shaft section 2a. The large diameter shaft section 2a has a tapered part 5 formed between the underhead section 3 and the middle shaft section 2b, with the underhead section 3 side having a larger diameter. The middle shaft section 2b is a straight section having the same diameter. A leading end of the small diameter shaft section 2c is formed into a bullet shape.
