Abstract:

To provide a fastening structure having a flanged collar, which allows adhesive to be applied to the entire outer peripheral surface of a collar part when bonding and fixing the flanged collar onto a resin member.

Besides forming a groove 23 in the outer peripheral surface 21c of a shaft part 21 in a flanged collar 20, adhesive 60 is disposed on the groove 23. In comparison with the case where no groove 23 is formed, therefore, the application of the adhesive 60 to the shaft part 21 increases a bonding area of the adhesive 60 and shaft part 21 to enhance bonding force of the adhesive 60 to the shaft part 21. When the flanged collar 20 in which the adhesive 60 is applied to the shaft part 21 in advance is fitted in a resin member 30, the adhesive 60 is prevented from being taken away to the inner peripheral surface 31a of a mounting hole 31 in comparison with the case where the shaft part 21 has no groove 23, so that the adhesive 60 is drawn into the depth of the mounting hole 31 by the flanged collar 20.
