To improve reliability of fastening structure by solving a problem wherein there is a possibility that a fastening part of a reservoir tank made of a resin is deformed and broken by residual stress when a fastening part is forcibly fastened by a bolt.
In this fastening structure 10, a nearly cylindrical collar 3 is pressed into a fitting hole 2a of a resin member 2, a bolt 4 is inserted into the collar 3, and the bolt 3 is screwed to a metal member 23 so as to fasten the bolt 4 to the metal member 23. The collar 3 is held in the fitting hole 2a of the resin member 2 by a predetermined holding force F1 so that the collar 3 is not moved in relation to the fitting hole 2a of the resin member 2. When fastening the bolt 4 to the metal member 23, a predetermined holding force F1 allowing the relative movement of the collar 3 is set so that deformation of the resin member 2 in the bolt inserting direction does not exceed an allowable range.
