Abstract:
To provide a fastening system (26) for a memory system (10), for fastening a memory device (24) to a housing assembly (52).
The fastening system (26) includes a first fastener unit (450) having a fastener (506) and a release assembly (456). At a latched position (500), the fastener (506) secures the memory device (24) to a housing assembly (52). Alternatively, at an unlatched position (502), the memory device (24) can be removed from the housing assembly (52) by the fastener (506). The release assembly (456) moves the fastener (506) between the latched position (500) and the unlatched position (502).
