Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject improver to improve the fastness and touch feeling of products to be dyed, comprising a dispersion of a linear cationic copolymer made up of each specific structural units.
CONSTITUTION: The objective fastness improver comprising a linear cationic copolymer 1000-50000 in weight-average molecular weight, made up of (A) 65-99mol% of ethylene structural unit, (B) 1-35mol% of acrylamide structural unit of formula I (R2 is 2-8C alkyl; R3 and R4 are each 1-4C alkyl; R5 is 1-12C alkyl, 6-12C aralkyl, or 6-12C alicyclic alkyl; X- is halogen ion, CH3OSO3-, etc.) and (C) ≤15mol% of acrylate structural unit of formula II (R1 is 1-4C alkyl). This improver is imparted with a product to be dyed to improve its wet fastness involving washing, water and sweat, etc., and its touch feeling.
