This fatigue tester is constituted of an exciter 2 having an up and down vibrated excitation part 8, the oblong sample attaching stand 3 attached to the upper part of the exciter 2 and a clamp 4 for fixing one end of a sample 40 to one end of the sample attaching stand 3. The sample attaching stand 3 is constituted of an exciter attaching part 31 having a recessed groove 34, the T-shaped bolt attaching part 30 positioned on one side of the exciter attaching part 31 and having a T-shaped bolt insertion hole 33 and the sample end part locking part 32 positioned on the other side of the exciter attaching part 31 and gradually reduced in wall thickness toward its leading end.
