Abstract:
To provide a method for preparing a fatty acid ester from a soy sauce oil and using the resultant fatty acid ester as a fuel for diesel automobiles.
This fatty acid ester is obtained by reacting the soy sauce oil with an alcohol in the presence of an acidic catalyst. The fuel comprises the fatty acid ester.
