To provide a faucet device for achieving the accurate stop of water and the continuation of water ejection.
This faucet device includes a water ejecting part, a water receiving part which receives a flow of water ejected from the water ejecting part, a sensor which collects information on a body-to-be-detected as a detection signal by the transmission and reception of an electric wave, and a control unit which controls the ejection and stop of the water by opening and closing a valve, on the basis of the detection signal from the sensor. The sensor, which is installed on the lateral surface of the water receiving part, emits the electric wave by being inclined in the direction of a lateral surface on which the water ejecting part is installed, with respect to the approximately vertical direction of the lateral surface of the installed water receiving part.
