To provide a faucet device capable of detecting an object to be washed securely, irrespective of shapes of spout and a water receiving part by applying radio waves radiated from a radio wave sensor into a water discharge space through a waveguide.
Since the waveguide and a water channel pipe are constituted inside the spout being a water discharge part and the waveguide is arranged on a lower side of the water channel pipe to apply radio waves on a water stream when radiating radio waves toward the inside of the water discharge space from a water discharge port in this faucet device, field intensity below the water discharge port is increased, and excellent precision in detection can be ensured even when using water below the water stream during water discharge to constitute the faucet device preventing water from being erroneously cut off during use and achieving satisfactory ease of use.
