Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new faucet with an air towel preventing a washhand stand or a floor surface from getting dirty and requiring no installation space of the air towel.
SOLUTION: The hot air blow off hole 24 of the air towel 19 automatically blowing hot air B via the operation of an electric heater and a blower to dry hands is provided near the spout 16 of the water discharge tube 18 of the faucet 1 switched for water discharge or water stop by an operation handle 3 on the side of the spout 16. An infrared ray sensor 25 operating the electric heater and the blower, sensing the approaching hands is provided on or near the water discharge tube 18.
