Abstract:
To provide a water cut-off valve with improved sealing force and water tightness.SOLUTION: A water cut-off valve 50 comprises a seal member 53 that seals between an outer fixed cylinder 51 and an inner rotary cylinder 52 in a water tightness state. The seal member 53 has an annular body part 53A that is disposed in an opening 51A and is in contact with an outer peripheral surface of the inner rotary cylinder 52, and a rectangular extension part 53B that extends from the body part 53A and is disposed in a region surrounding the opening 51A on the outer peripheral surface of the outer fixed cylinder 51. Engaging parts engaged with each other due to an irregularity relationship and surface contact parts for surface contacting with each other due to a flatness relationship are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the outer fixed cylinder 51 and the extension part 53B of the seal member 53, wherein the engaging parts are provided at least at four corners of the extension part, and the surface contact parts are provided between adjacent engaging parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
