A human sensor 19 is disposed at the tip of a water discharge pipe 13. An electromagnetic valve 20A which is opened or closed by the human sensor 19 is disposed in a faucet body 12. A control device 21 which controls the electromagnetic valve 20A to open for water discharge from the water discharge pipe 13 when the human sensor 19 detects a human body is disposed in the faucet body 12. The water discharge pipe 13 is provided with a display lamp 22. The control device 21 controls the display lamp 22 to perform display operation when the human sensor 19 detects a human body and controls the electromagnetic valve 20A to open after a lapse of time following the display operation.
