Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a faucet which can be promptly further surely opened and closed, by arranging a slide plate, which provides stop, straight discharge and sprinkling parts of water, in a case secured to a supply water pipe so that the slide plate is slidably moved in the direction crossing at a right angle with the flow direction of water. CONSTITUTION:A sprinkling section 6, straight dischatrge opening 4 and a stopping small hole 3 of water are respectively formed vertically penetrating a slide plate 2. Under then condition such that a faucet is opened, if a control lever 36 is lowered moving the slide plate 2 backward, a sprinkling condition of water is obtained, and if the control lever 36 is returned to an intermediated stage, a straight discharge condition of water is obtained allowing the water to flow out, then if the control lever 36 is returened to an upper stage moving the slide plate 2 to the forefront, the water is stopped. While the slide plate 2, providing plural concaved parts 27, can be accurately moved to each flow position of water by fitting a ball member 40 into said concaved parts.
