Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately detect a fault of a temperature sensor.SOLUTION: A hybrid ECU for detecting a fault of a temperature sensor includes: a heat quantity estimation section 32 for calculating a value corresponding to a first heat quantity to be generated in a first predetermined time from a temperature detection object of a temperature sensor; a temperature difference calculation section 33 which determines a fault of the temperature sensor excluding when the value corresponding to the first heat quantity calculated by the heat quantity estimation section 32 exceeds a predetermined value for a predetermined period and the change in value according to the first heat quantity falls within a predetermined range for a predetermined period; a coordinate value calculation section 35; and a fault detection section 36.
