Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-accuracy solar cell string degradation diagnosis method.SOLUTION: In a fault diagnosis system for a photovoltaic power generation system, a monitoring device calculates an estimated amount of solar radiation and an estimated operating temperature of a first solar cell string on the basis of a short-circuit current and an open-circuit voltage in a first solar cell string current-voltage characteristic and a measured array output voltage value and array output current value measured by an array measurement device. The monitoring device calculates an estimated current value of the first solar cell string by using the estimated amount of solar radiation, the estimated operating temperature, and the current-voltage characteristic. The monitoring device compares the estimated current value and the measured current value of the first solar cell string measured by a string current measurement device to diagnose the degradation of the first solar cell string.
