PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault monitoring system properly judging a fault concerning a system adding a generation time and a restoring time to fault data of a terminal equipment to store in a monitoring device.
SOLUTION: The system consists of terminal equipments 2 and the monitoring device 1 monitoring the fault of the device. Each terminal equipment 2 is provided with a first timer means 3, a first storing means 5 temporarily storing fault information consisting of the generation time of a primary fault and a fault code after primary and secondary faults, and a transmission means 6 transmitting an information signal at the time of generating the primary fault and a restoration signal and fault information in the first storing means 5 at the time of restoring all the faults to the monitoring device 1. The monitoring device 1 is provided with a second timer means 7, an informing means 10 giving information of the fault of the pertinent terminal equipment 2 based on the information signal, an adding means 8 adding a receiving time to receiving fault information based on the restoration signal, a second storing means 9 storing fault information with the receiving time by the terminal equipment, and an output means 11 outputting fault information in the second storing means 9 each prescribed period.
