Abstract:
To provide a fault position identification device with which, in a device for identifying the position of a fault having occurred to the design surface of a vehicle body which is the object to be detected, it is possible to calculate the movement amount of a transported vehicle body from imaged data obtained by imaging means and identifying the position of the fault on the basis of the movement amount, allowing for highly accurate position identification, and a fault position identification method using this fault position identification device.SOLUTION: A fault position identification device comprises design surface imaging means for imaging the design surface of a vehicle body, lower bottom surface imaging means for imaging a lower bottom surface which is a non-design surface of the vehicle body, and information processing means for processing information obtained from the design surface imaging means and the lower bottom surface imaging means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
