Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent application of voltage onto a recovered fault point in a fault section detecting system for substation.

CONSTITUTION: A bus 1 is divided into a plurality of sections by means of a plurality of radio CTs 2, 3 and a decision section 15 is provided connected with a plurality of ground stations 11, 12. The radio CT 2, 3 comprises a CT 4 for detecting the current flowing through the bus 1, a memory section 6 for temporarily storing information of current thus detected, a high voltage receiving section 7 for receiving call command from the ground station 11, 12, and a high voltage transmitting section 8 for transmitting the current information on wave in response to the call command. Each of the ground stations 11, 12 comprises a ground transmitting section 13 for transmitting the call command on wave in response to an instruction fed from the decision section 15, and a ground receiving section 14 for receiving the current information and transmitting the current information thus received to the decision section 15. The decision section 15 comprises a control section 17 for taking in operational information of a bus protective relay 18 and delivering the call command, and a detector 16 for detecting a fault section based on the current information.
