PURPOSE: To provide a system in which FAX information can be surely transmitted to an addressee by discriminating the FAX information at every addressee, and also, judging whether or not the addressee collates the information addressed to oneself actually.
CONSTITUTION: This system is an electronic filing system which stores data transmitted from FAX and performs the collation of the data from each terminal, and it is a FAX filing system provided with a temporary data storage means 5 which stores reception data, an addressee information discrimination means 6 which discriminates information with respect to the addressee from the data stored in the temporary data storage means 5, a FAX data storage means 7 which stores addressee information and the reception data correspondingly, and a FAX data collating means 8 which collates a content stored in the FAX data storage means 7, and furthermore, it is provided with a collation discriminating means 10 which discriminates the collation of the content of the FAX data storage means 7 by the pertinent address.
