Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amorphous alloy and an amorphous alloy ribbon each capable of achieving higher magnetic flux density while maintaining low iron loss.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an Fe-based amorphous alloy and an amorphous alloy ribbon each of which is excellent in soft magnetic property and contains Fe of 80 atom% to 88 atom%, P of 6 atom% to 16 atom%, C of 2 atom% to 8 atom%, Al of 0.1 atom% to 3 atom% and further Mo in the range of 0.1 atom% to 5 atom% and the balance of inevitable impurities, a part of Fe being replaced with one of Ni, Cr and Co.SELECTED DRAWING: None
