Title:
FE-NI ALLOY HAVING SUPERIOR SUITABILITY TO PRESS BLANKING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6144157
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an Fe-Ni alloy having improved suitability to press blanking without reducing the suitability to plating and soldering by prescribing the amounts of C, Si, Mn, S and O as trace constituents in an Fe-Ni alloy.

CONSTITUTION: This Fe-Ni alloy consists of 35W85wt% Ni and the balance Fe with trace constituents and inevitable impurities. The trace constituents are ≤0.03% C, 0.01W0.30% Si, 0.3W1.0% Mn, 0.003W0.010% S and 0.003W0.010% O. Since the amounts of the trace constituents are strictly controlled as mentioned above, the Fe-Ni alloy has improved suitability to press blanking without reducing the suitability to plating and soldering.
