Title:
FE-NI-CO ALLOY AND USE THEREOF IN SHADOW-MASK PREPARATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3756984
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an Fe-Ni-Co alloy having a small expansion coefficient by making the alloy containing specified wt.% of Ni, Co or the like and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and specifying the relations between elements.
SOLUTION: The chemical constitution of the Fe-Ni-Co alloy is composed of, by wt.%, 32 to 34% Ni, 3.5 to 6.5% Co, 0 to 0.1% Mn, 0 to 0.1% Si, 0 to 0.1% Cr, 0.005 to 0.02% C, ≤0.001% S, 0.0001 to 0.002% Ca, 0.0001 to 0.002% Mg and the balance Fe withe inevitable impurities. Furthermore, the elements satisfy formula I, formula II, formula III and formula IV. Also, the alloy may contain 0.1% or less Cu, Mo, V and Nb. Thus, a shadow mask with few defects is produced.
