PURPOSE: To prevent the scattering of a feces sample, resulting in the contamination of surroundings, when the inside of a container is pressurized at the time of taking out the sample by improving the operability and sealing performance of the container when a feces collecting rod is inserted into the container.
CONSTITUTION: A feces sampling container for transportation is provided with a container main body 1 for housing a decal matter suspending liquid and feces collecting rod 6 inserted into the main body 1 and is composed of a cap body 2 which tightly covers one end section of the main body 1, separating wall 4 which is provided in the main body 1 so that the wall 4 can divide the inside of the main body 1 and can remove an excessive amount of feces when the rod 6 is passed through the wall 4, filter 7 for filtrating the liquid in which feces are suspended, and dropping section 5 which is inserted into the other end section of the main body 1 and drops the liquid filtrated through the filter 7. In addition, projecting parts 4A which are airtightly engaged with the outer peripheral surface of the rod 6 are provided on the inner peripheral surface of the wall 4 and, at the same time, recessed parts 6B which are longer than the lengths of the projecting lines 4A on the wall 4 are provided on at least part of the peripheral surface of the rod 6 in a state where the parts 6B are counterposed to the wall 4.
