PURPOSE: To enable a synthetic sheet to be used without being cut and further enable the sheet to be reused by feeding and collecting a continuous roll of the sheet according to the loading or unloading of a glass sheet body, and freely unwinding or winding the sheet around a sheet winding body.

CONSTITUTION: Fore and aft shifting rails 11 and 11' are laid in parallel on top of a body rack 13 at both sides, and a pinion motor 10 gearing with a rack 12 fitted to the rail 11 is turned, thereby moving a lateral motion rail 8 in a fore and aft direction. The lateral motion rail 8 is fitted with a rack 9 and a pinion motor gearing therewith is turned, thereby moving lateral motion carriages 7 in a lateral direction. A rolled synthetic sheet winding body 4 suspended from the carriages 7 and a pair of feed and collection rolls 5 and 5' as guide rolls in common are thereby moved laterally. The rolled sheet winding body 4 and each of the rolls 5 and 5' are respectively caused to rotate in both normal and reverse directions, interlocked with the lateral motion of the carriages 7 on the operation of each built-in motor thereof. A synthetic rolled sheet 6 is thereby fed and collected for a glass sheet body 2 on a placement seat 3.
