Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the machining accuracy of a numerically controlled machine tool by dividing a machining curve into minute sections to receive the linear interpolation to give the travelling amount to each section and also defining a large section independently to perform the speed control. CONSTITUTION:A large section Q1-Q2 are divided into minute sections P1-P7, and the feed speed receives the equidistant slow up with width DELTAf at the starting point part of the large section. When the feed speed reaches a fixed level Fw, the feed control is performed at this fixed speed for most large sections. Hereafter the slow down is carried out at an interval DELTAF up to the point Q2(P7). Thus the slow up is given to sections R0(Q1)-R1 in a large section together with the fixed speed given to R1-R2 and the slow down given to R2-R3(Q2). Then the interpolation is performed in each minute section. As a result, the uniform machining is possible for the machining curve corresponding to the large section.
