PURPOSE: To extend an operation time in case of a condition which takes time for an operation, by providing a selecting means for selecting a timer output for deciding a feed holding time, in accordance with a specified photographing condition.

CONSTITUTION: When a release button is half-pushed, a switch 2 is closed, a transistor 5 is turned on, feed is started, also when a transistor 13 is turned on, timing circuits 8, 9 and FD1WFDn are reset, a selecting circuit 18 generates an H outputs, and a transistor 6 is turned on. As a result, the on-state of the transistor 5 is held. When the switch 2 is turned off, the transistor 13 becomes off, and time counting of the timing circuit is started. By a sensor circuit 17, whether the operating condition is regular or takes time is discriminated, and by receiving its output, the selecting circuit selects an output of a frequency divider FDn-2, and an FDn-1 or FDn, in case of the former and the latter, respectively, and a feed holding time is decided.
