This method for improving the color tone of the poultry meat, characterized by giving a feed containing Spirulina in an amount of 0.01 to 3.5 wt.% to poultry to breed the poultry. Thereby, the poultry meat having the preferable improved color tone, especially the poultry meat having an increased a* value of ≥2.0, an increased b* of ≤2.0 in the meat portion and having an increased a* value of ≤2.0 and an increased b* value of ≤2.0 in the fat portion in the L* a* b* color system by a diffused lighting vertical light-receiving method in comparison with those of a case that the Spirulina is not given can be created.
