Abstract:

To make optimal feedwater control according to whether or not main conduit pressure as water pressure at the pump suction side exceeds the target suction pressure.

If the suction-side water pressure detected by a pressure sensor 5 provided to the suction-side of the pump 1 exceeds the target suction pressure specified in advance, a controller 7 applies acceleration control to the pump 1 through an inverter 3 to match the suction-side water pressure of the pump 1 with the previously specified target pressure. While, if the suction-side water pressure is below the target suction pressure specified in advance, the controller 7 applies deceleration control to the pump 1 to control the suction-side water pressure.
