Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remove a strain shape defect of a spring shape by individually driving each of a pair of feed rolls to roll in the same or different peripheral velocity so as to feed out the wise material to be straightened or curved.
CONSTITUTION: A wire 5 held between feed rolls, 1, 2, formed in a pair is fed out from a wire guide. Each feed roll 1, 2, is individually driven, i.e., peripheral velocities of the feed rolls formed in a pair can be made same or a different. Therefore, this carried wire 5 is straightened or curved and fed out. Then an internal stress is applied to the held wire 5 by generating the difference in the peripheral velocity of the feed rolls 1, 2 formed in a pair, and the wire 5 carried out from the wire guide is preliminarily formed with curving. Therefore, the strain shape defect of the formed spring shape can be removed, or the preliminarily forming can be executed with the difference of internal stress applied to the wire before the process of spring forming.
