Abstract:
To prevent transmission of the heat of a motor of a feeding mechanism to a base.
A screw shaft 1 of the feeding mechanism of a machine tool provided with a screw shaft and a nut is formed with a center hole 1a wherein a cooling liquid flows. The cooling liquid is led into the center hole 1a from a cooling liquid temperature control device 61, and the cooling liquid flowing through the center hole 1a of the screw shaft 1 is discharged to be stored inside a motor bracket 21 formed into a hollow sealed structure for fitting a motor 23 to the base 5, and then, the cooling liquid is discharged outside.
